How a PlayMoreGolf flexible membership works
- A golfer will purchase a membership via the PlayMoreGolf website or App and choose a ‘home’ club. A membership is valid for 12 months.
- They will receive X number of points. (options in the table below) to be used against their rounds of golf.
- 80% of the points will be used at their designated home club. The remaining 20% – these are called ‘Flexi Points’ – can be used to play at other partner clubs.
- Each point is worth £4.00. Every golf course has their own points-matrix which PlayMoreGolf will help you to create based on your tee sheet utilisation.
- Each time a golfer plays, their points will be deducted from their overall balance automatically.
- If a golfer runs out of points, they can top up their balance. Any unused points will roll over upon renewal. If a golfer does not renew their membership, the points will expire.

There may be some of your current members that might move into this category. Our data shows this number is very small. We should ask ourselves if these members would be leaving anyway as their current category does not work for them. Keeping them attached to your club because you have a flexible approach to membership means you could move them back to 5&7 day membership in the future. Current members who move into a flexible membership will also play their golf differently and will move to quieter times of the day. This means you open a slot to bring a new member in. We tend to see on average 20% of flexible members will upgrade into full club membership.
